"The world we know is dwarfed by the ones we don't, why not explore them all?"- Ferenik
Among all of the geographic areas of the United States, the American Southwest's various elevation changes in such a short time make is like nowhere else in the US. Roadtrips through this region are scattered with deep-cut canyons, long sandstone mountain ranges, coral pink sand dunes & more.
Cane Beds, Arizona
This region is normally dry year-round, with average annual rainfall ranging from 3 inches in the southwest to 13 inches in the northern parts.
The average summer daytime temperatures range between 95-115F with cool summer nights in the low 50s.
During the winter you can expect daytime temperatures in the 40s with nights frequently dropping into the low 20ss
Overall, due to the low precipitation rates, you can expect a lot of sunshine, dry heat, and crisp, cool nights.
It tends to be windy, which can increase the amount of sand/dirt in the air. A few things to think about packing: an extra bandana/face mask, cough drops, eye drops & nasal spray

We are located less than 10 minutes from a gas station and Bee's Marketplace, a full-sized grocery store
We have about 5 restaurants within a 30-minute radius. 40 min from us, La Verkin (if you're coming from Zion)
Most of our guests choose to grocery shop during their stay and grill on-site or visit a few of the local restaurants near us. More information on food recommendations & our favorite spots in town can be found here.
